August 2019 – The MWC LA Conference is the merged event of the prior CTIA conference from the US and the international GSM group that manages the well known MWC Barcelona conference in February.
The Conference in LA shows off the new technologies for the ever ongoing advanced in cell phone and wireless connectivity. While the focus is on 5G and it deployment across the country, the reset of the 4G and 5G ecosystem will be on display.
For IT leaders who have private networks, use push to talk and have the phones integrated into the voice control and messaging seeing the latest technology so they can plan out a 4G to 5G migration path is key. Also meeting the vendors, to planning who is still there after a busy in M & A season as well as where the software you are using will end up in the supply chair.
Of particular importance are the session on DNS changes for 5G, vehicle connectivity & security with office IP & VPN, Fleet logistics tracking under 5G, and many other issues with the new data speeds, protocols and connectivity methods.

The conference will also cover entertainment content which is about streaming media in a cellular and wireless environment. These discussions pertain not only to being able to enjoy your favorite movie and live sports with a better quality of experience, but also for being able to participate in high quality video conferences and intranet based video message delivery.
The combined show, highlights carrier hardware, software, standards, and for the endpoints – small cell, redistribution, handsets and accessories in the expo area.
The show is returning to the LA Convention Center October 22-24, 2019.
